Bruce E. Anglemyer, 71, of Goshen, died Friday morning, May 6, 2011, at his home. He was born May 14, 1939 in Goshen to the late Ed and Helen (Dewey) Anglemyer. On June 12, 1960 he married Sharon Alfano at First Lutheran Church, Goshen. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Tracy (Michael) Gill of Goshen; two sons, Bruce Anglemyer, Jr. of Elkhart and Brad (Heather) Anglemyer of Goshen; six grandchildren, Robert and John Martin, Courtney, Brice, Brittany, and Jane Anglemyer; and a step-grandson, Chase Knoblock. A lifetime Goshen resident, except for five years in Indianapolis, Mr. Anglemyer was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen. A 1957 graduate of Goshen High School and a 1961 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, he was a member of Maplecrest Country Club, Goshen Elks and Goshen Rotary Club. He worked in Indianapolis for Creative Packaging, 1961-1965, then moved back to Goshen and worked at Western Rubber Company, 1965-1984, In 1984 he went to work for Fidler, Inc. until 1996 and retired from Kuert Concrete in 1999 as Corporate Manager of Sales. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm , Monday, May 9 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. A 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at First United Methodist Church with Pastors Ed and Brenda Fritz officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral and a private family committal will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
