Brian J. Shriner

Brian J. Shriner, 66, of Goshen died Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born January 22, 1957 in Elkhart to Lester and Mildred (Weaver) Shriner.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela (Derek) Gorce of Goshen; step-son, Daniel Berkey of Anderson; four grandchildren, Chloe and Tanner Wigent, and Larry and Kendra Hughes; a sister, Sharon Stoll of Elkhart; and three brothers, Larry (Phyllis) Shriner, Stan (Jean) Shriner, and Randy (Meredith) Shriner, all of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Bontrager and Sue Bowman.

Mr. Shriner worked for J.A. Wagner Construction for 30 years until his health did not permit him to continue.

Brian was dedicated to his family, especially his grandchildren. Being with them brought him the most joy. He also enjoyed solving things, from fixing household issues to word and jigsaw puzzles.

A private graveside service will be held at Benton Lutheran Cemetery, Goshen.
