Brett A. Zentz

Kalamazoo- Brett A. Zentz, 55, died on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, after a short battle with cancer.

He was born April 4, 1971, in Goshen, to Craig and Patricia (Kilmer) Zentz.

Surviving Brett is his mother, Patricia Zentz; siblings Jason (Mindy) Zentz, and Carrie (Aaron Ridge) Hill, both of Goshen; nieces, Gracie, Sage (Alex), Emma, Katie, Kendall, Chloe, and Annika; and his partner, Patrick Booker, Kalamazoo.

He was preceded in death by his father Craig.

Brett was currently employed at D&W Fresh Market, where he recently became manager of the meat department. Prior to joining D&W, he had worked at the Family and Children Center, in Mishawaka.
