Brenda Nicole (Neuenschwander) Battice

Brenda Nicole (Neuenschwander) Battice, 30, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at her home Sunday evening, May 11, 2014. She had dealt with various health issues the past 10 years. She was born Jan. 3, 1984 in Fort Wayne. She is survived by her parents Keith and Cindy (Knose) Neuenschwander, of Goshen; a son, Kiante Battice; and grandparents, Becky Knose, of Columbus, and Alvin Neuenschwander, of Berne. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ken Knose and Mabel Neuenschwander. A Goshen resident since 1988, Brenda graduated from Goshen High School in 2002. She was a member of Silverwood Mennonite Church and enjoyed music, reading and being a mother to her toddler. She formerly worked as a CNA in healthcare. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Friday, May 16, 2014, at Silverwood Mennonite Church, 1712 W. Clinton Street, Goshen. Pastors Ron Guengerich and Rachel Nolt will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hannah's House, 518 W. 4th St., Mishawaka. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting with funeral arrangements.
