Brenda C. Damron

Brenda C. Damron, 65, of Goshen, died early Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital where she had been a patient for one day. She was born in Whitley, Kentucky, on April 30, 1942, to Joe H. and Hattie (Slaven) Douglas.  A lifelong resident of the area, Ms. Damron retired from Homecrest in 1994. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Damron of Goshen; two sons, Randy Damron of Edwardsburg, Michigan, and Joey Douglas of Goshen; eight grandchildren; a sister, Linda Sue Gerald of Goshen; and two brothers, Jesse Douglas of Goshen and Leroy Douglas of Evansville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herbert Minton; and a sister, Irene Eggelston. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 10, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home.  Pastor Jason Kincaid of the First Assembly Church of God, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
