Bradford Allen Shroyer

Bradford Allen Shroyer, 48, died early Sunday morning, November 29, 2009, at his home.  He had been ill since July 2009 with pancreatic cancer.  He was born to Chuck E. Shroyer and Elinor R. (White) Shroyer, on November 9, 1961, in Sturgis, Michigan.  They both survive.  He married Dawn Kling on August 29, 2009, in Goshen, after four years of companionship.  She survives.  Mr. Shroyer graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School; he then served four years in the Marine Corps.  He later worked in home construction as a carpenter.  He worked for the Maples for two years, Fireside Estates for five years, and Team Construction for one year.  He is survived by three daughters, Erin (Derek) Hann, Mishawaka, Indiana, Ashley Butt, KaylaJo Butt, both of Goshen; one son, Ryan Shroyer, Goshen; one sister, Kathy L. Shroyer, Elkhart, Indiana; one brother, Chuck A. Shroyer, Dunlap, Indiana; and two grandchildren.  Friends may call from 9-11 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, Goshen.  An 11 a.m., Friday, December 4, funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church.  Officiating is Pastor Brenda Fritz.  Memorials may be made out to the family.
