Bonnie Carol Wilson

September 8, 1937 — February 21, 2018

Bonnie Carol Wilson, 80, Goshen, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing after a brief illness.

She was born September 8, 1937 in South Haven, Michigan where she married David L. Wilson on June 16, 1956.

He survives along with three children, Cheri (Carson) Reid of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Debra (Bill) Egger of Cookeville, Tennessee and Douglas (Jo-Anne) Wilson of Goshen; nine grandchildren, Brad Wilson, Heather Wilson, Stephanie Davis, Courtney Swanson, Danielle Curran, Michelle McKerrow, Jared Egger, Spencer Reid and Austin Reid; five great-grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Claire, Grant and Victoria; and four siblings, Janice (Robert) Brown of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Karen (Lester) Dalrymple of South Haven, Michigan, Brent (Mavis) Ransom of Oakdale, Minnesota and Dwight (Marsha) Ransom of South Haven, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Boyd and Edythe (Parrish) Ransom.

Mrs. Wilson graduated as salutatorian of the South Haven High School Class of 1955.

A Goshen resident since 1962, she enjoyed gardening and music and playing the piano.

Friends may call Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 from 9:30 until 11:30 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a noon service will be conducted.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Harbor Light Hospice or American Cancer Society.

The family wishes to thank the staff of The Maples for the wonderful care they provided for Bonnie.
