Bonnie Christina Munson, 64, of Goshen, died early Wednesday afternoon, March 5, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital where she had been a patient since March 1. She was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on November 16, 1943, to the late Aida May (Snyder) Munson and Charles Robert Munson of Goshen. A Goshen resident since 1996, Miss Munson moved to Goshen from St. Petersburg, Florida, where she had worked at the Brethren Home in Christian Education for 25 years. She was a member of the First Brethren Church, Goshen. She attended Ashland College and graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She received her master’s degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. A person of strong faith, Miss Munson devoted much of her life energies to children’s Christian education. She is survived by her father, Charles Munson of Goshen; a sister, Deborah M. (Don) Vick of Coppell, Texas; a niece, Rachel; a nephew, John; and special friend, Mrs. Judy Hollinger of Goshen. Friends will be received 2 to 4 Saturday, March 8, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 10, at Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home, Ashland, Ohio. A 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2008, funeral service will be held at First Brethren Church, Goshen with Pastor John Drexler officiating. A graveside service and burial will be in Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, Ohio or Greencroft Foundation.
