Bonnie (Roe) Morse, 87, of Bristol, died at the home of her son late Monday night, December 22, 2008. She was born in Noble County on February 19, 1921 to Frank and Geneva (Young) Roe. She married John S. Morse in Middlebury. He died November 24, 1997. A lifetime resident of the area, Mrs. Morse worked at Chase Bag in Goshen and Alumax in Bristol. She was a long time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Middlebury. She is survived by two daughters, Clara (Jim) Morse Fry of Middlebury and Shirley Fisher of Elkhart; three sons, John (Annelie) Morse, Lewis (Deane Ann) Morse and Roy Morse, all of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Roy (Mary Ruth) Roe of Lyon, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandchild, Joshua; four sisters, Lucille Grogg, Betty Hadig, Edith Drake and Mary Schott; and four brothers, Cecil, Wilber, Jack and Johnny Roe. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 26, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Middlebury. Pastor William Steinke will officiate. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.
