Bonnie F. Maggert, 67, of Goshen, died late Monday night, December 5, 2005, after a brief illness, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born August 10, 1938, in Goshen, Indiana, to Stahly and Dorothy (Marty) Weaver. On November 22, 1961, at the Fish Lake Lutheran Church, she married Rex M. Maggert. He survives. Mrs. Maggert was a lifetime resident of Goshen. She worked as a registered nurse at Goshen General Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She attended Jefferson Brethren Church and worked as a facilitator at Ryan’s Place. She graduated in 1956 from Millersburg High School and Lutheran School of Nursing in 1960. She loved flowers and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Rex, two sons, Kevin (Janet) Maggert of Mishawaka and Kirk (Jonna) Maggert of Goshen; a daughter, Kim (Eric) Mumaw of Goshen; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (H.G.) Sawyer of Mystic, Conneticut. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Mark and Mike Weaver. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 8, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Spyker, Jefferson Brethren Church, will officiate the 10 a.m. funeral service on Friday, December 9, 2005, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Loveway or Ryan’s Place in lieu of flowers.
