Bonnie J. Gertzen

Bonnie J. Gertzen, 75, of Goshen died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born March 15, 1945 in Blue Island, Illinois to Gail and Clara (Kind) Knouff.

On Dec. 30, 1965 she married Robert Gertzen in Portage, Indiana.

Robert survives along with a daughter, Terri (Brad) Dewald, Goshen; a son, Bob, Jr. (Laura) Gertzen, Valparaiso; and nine grandchildren, Derek, Brandon, Zach and Isaac Gertzen, Olivia and Sophia Dewald, Andrew and Sarah Brown, and Matthew Rumler.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Alice, Beverly, Wanda, Phyllis and Audrey.

Bonnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and riding horses.

A private family service was held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will take place at Knox Cemetery, at a later date.
