Bonnie L. Gerken

Bonnie Lou Gerken, 71, of Goshen died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born May 6, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Paul B. and Dorothy M. (Carey) Jones.

Survived by sons, Bruce Gourley of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Michael “Chip” (Carrie) Treadwell of Portland, Oregon; daughters, Dawn (Bob) Lamont of Durham, North Carolina and Gretchen (Matt) McCavitt of Middlebury; grandchildren, Sean Greener, Ashley Hollenbach, Ryan, Amber and Rachel Lamont, Joshua and Anna McCavitt, Esme and Shay Treadwell; and brothers, twin, Bruce (Barbara) Jones of Ambler, Pennsylvania and Ron (Marlene) Jones of Roslyn, Pennsylvania.

Bonnie volunteered at Greencroft, where she participated in painting classes and made wonderful friends that she loved dearly.  She enjoyed many happy times at the family cottage in Ocean City, New Jersey.  Bonnie also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and services will take place in Philadelphia, at a later date.
