Bonnie D. Elder

Bonnie D. Elder, 91, of Goshen, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born June 20, 1928 in Goshen.

On January 23, 1948 she married Harvey D. Elder.  He died November 10, 2014.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue (David) Ogle of Goshen and Sally (Jim) Whitehead of Elkhart; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Sinner and Lois (Swartz) Ulrey and her husband.

Mrs. Elder was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen.  She enjoyed coloring and sending birthday and Christmas cards.

She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Richard Myers more than 30 years.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.  Pastors Ed and Brenda Fritz will officiate.

Memorial gifts may be given to American Cancer Society.
