Bobby Wayne Peak

April 2, 1935 — October 3, 2016

Bobby Wayne Peak, 81, of Goshen, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

He was born April 2, 1935 in Selmer, Tennessee to Lou Allen and Lucy (Darby) Peak.

Survivors include two sons, Chad (Laura) Peak and Travis (Tiffany) Peak, both of Goshen; two granddaughters, Lyndsay and Morgan Peak; a granddog, Phoenix; and two sisters, Edna “Pearl” Hamilton, Goshen and Marie Taylor, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Rodgers and Jesse Holland and five brothers, Earl, Howard, Robert, Eugene and James Junior Peak.

Mr. Peak worked at Western Rubber Company, retiring after 38 years of service.

He attended Goshen High School and enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved being with his children and grandchildren.

Friends may call Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Friday, October 7, funeral service will be conducted.  Rev. Don Simmons of Maple City Baptist will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
