Bobbie Jo Schnell

Bobbie Jo Schnell, 94, of Goshen, died Monday, March 1, 2025.

She was born September 14, 1930 in Winslow, IN, to Leonard and Clementine Stewart. On October 22, 1949, she married Robert Schnell.

Surviving is her husband, Robert; 3 children, Scott Schnell, Peggy (David) Ganger, and Michael (Colleen) Schnell; 6 grandchildren, Kevin (Katie) Ganger, Andrew (Marti) Ganger, Joshua (Ashley) Ganger, Chad (Crystal Gilbert) Schnell, Kristi (Kyle) Galecki, and Justin (Chantel) Schnell; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents and 3 siblings.

Bobbie worked as a secretary for First English Church and Good Shepard Preschool for over 20 years which she used the income to put all her grandchildren through preschool. She also volunteered at Faith Lutheran Church after that. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen.

Bobbie enjoyed traveling with Robert, watching sports on television (especially hockey) and in person, and spending time with family and her many friends. Bobbie had a great sense of humor and had a way of making people laugh. She was always willing to help anyone in need.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A graveside service for Robert N. and Bobbie Jo will take place Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Violett Cemetery.
