Blaine D. Adkins

Blaine D. Adkins, 81, of Goshen, died Monday, October 5, 2020, at his home.

He was born November 28, 1938 in Greasy Creek, Kentucky to Ervin and Lurla (Riley) Adkins.

In 1985 he married Karen L. Grise.  She died December 3, 2005.

Survivors include three children, Troy Adkins, Audrey (Stanley) Miller and Blaine Daniel “Danny” Adkins II; a step-daughter, Donna (Ron) Sharp, Osceola; two step-sons, Myron (Dalia) Grise and Donald Grise, both of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two siblings, Juanita (Steve) Tackett, Kentucky and Ervin (Sharon) Adkins, Jr., Tennessee.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Steven Grise and siblings, Alfred and Evan Adkins, Thelma Sue Casebolt and Linda Gail Adkins.

He attended Berea College for three years and served with the U.S. Air Force.  Blaine retired from Benteler.

Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2020, from 9 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
