Rev. Billy J. Lamb, 78, of Goshen, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at home.
He was born August 12, 1941 in Harlan, Kentucky to William and Maggie (Bryant) Lamb.
On July 29, 1963, he married Delphia Hill in Jacksboro, Tennessee. She died October 1, 2017.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Rebecca (Bruce) David and Tina Lamb, both of Goshen; four grandchildren, Travis (Rebecca) Davis, Alisha (Matt) Cleveland, Mikayla (David) Balsa and Caleb Lamb; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Kellin Davis, Logan Cleveland and Maryann and Melody Balsa; a sister, Ruth Goins of Indianapolis and two brothers, Eugene (Helen) Lamb of Georgia and Robert (Mary) Lamb of Pine Knot, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son, Charles Lamb.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Rev. Billy Lamb served as pastor of the Pentecostal House of Prayer since July 1985.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Pentecostal House of Prayer, 110 Hackett Road, Goshen, where a 6 p.m. funeral service will be conducted. Bishop Jay Walden, Jellico Tennessee and Rev. Ralph Johnson, Wabash, will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial donations may be given to Pentecostal House of Prayer.
