Bill L. Sherck

William “Bill” L. Sherck, 83, of Goshen died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at home.

He was born May 12, 1935 in LaGrange County to Harvey L. and Fern E. (Pence) Sherck.

On October 22, 1966 he married Betty Joy Mast at Goshen City Church of the Brethren.

She survives along with a daughter, Timberley Sherck of Des Plaines, Illinois; a sister, Deborah (Fred) Garey of Palmyra, Virginia; and a brother, Patrick (Sharon) Sherck of Pittsboro, Indiana.

Bill was a 1953 Goshen High School graduate and member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen.  He served in the Air Force Reserves and as a platoon sergeant in the Army National Guard.  He worked at Johnson Controls for 42 years, retiring in 1996.

He enjoyed golfing and was an avid fisherman.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

According to Bill’s wishes, cremation will take place.
