Bill A. Nisley, 65, of Goshen, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he had been since Friday.
Bill was born June 14, 1952 in Goshen to John L. and Wilma (Miles) Nisley.
On December 15, 1973 he married Lynn Hostetler in Goshen. She died February 16, 2013.
Survivors include three children, Todd (Holly) Nisley of Bedford, Cherie (Brandon) Marks of Hagerstown, Maryland and Sara (Jim) Luebbert of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Kendall, Madeline, Brooklyn, Lily and Blake and two sisters, Marilyn (Paul) Kelly and Kay Swett, both of Elkhart.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Nisley Jr. in 1950.
A 1970 graduate of Concord High School, Bill worked as a lineman for NIPSCO for more than 35 years before retiring in 2011. He was a member of Michiana Harley Owners’ Group. He enjoyed motorcycles, hiking, boating, traveling and playing Texas Holdem at MGM.
Friends may call Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, funeral service will be held.
Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Melanoma Research.
