Beverly J. Simmons

Beverly J. Simmons, 87, of Elkhart died Friday, January 19, 2024 at Elkhart Meadows.

She was born December 14, 1936 in Goshen to Frances W. and Mary M. (Sapen) Chapman.

On January 19, 1953 she married John Simmons in Goshen. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Eustacia “Stacey” Rogers of Syracuse; three grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Cripe of Goshen, Iris “Jean” Rogers of Olathe, Kansas and Jared (Kathy) Arnett of Elkhart; and six great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Simmons, and all of her siblings.

Mrs. Simmons received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend and worked as an editor in the publishing industry.

A private burial will take place at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
