Beverly Louise Hawn

Beverly L. Hawn, 77, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at her home.

She was born September 6, 1939 in Goshen.

On September 17, 1955 she married Phillip L. Hawn in Goshen.  He died May 16, 2013.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina (Jim) Mikel of Wakarusa and Shannon (Tom) Perkins of Goshen; two sons, Randy (Paula) Hawn of Cromwell and Adam (Stephanie Kessler) Hawn of Columbia City; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Hawn of Goshen; a brother, Bill (Ruth) Alfrey of New Paris and an aunt, Nelda Carroll of Palmetto, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Edna L. (Shannon) Firestone; a son, Jesse Ryan Hawn; a sister, Sue Firestone and two brothers, Gene and Guy Alfrey.

A lifelong Goshen and New Paris resident, Beverly was a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship.  She enjoyed crocheting and caring for family and friends.

She worked as an inspector at Goshen Rubber.

Friends may call Monday, October 24, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016,  funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Craig Garber officiating.

Burial will follow in New Paris Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
