Beverly A. Gainey

Beverly A. Gainey, 77, of Goshen, died Sunday, April 19, 2020, at home after a nine-year illness.

She was born June 2, 1942 in Fort Wayne to Ferdinand E. Marckel and Edith Mae Musselman.

On June 17, 2010 she married Sherman G. Gainey, II in Plantation, Florida.

He survives along with a sister-in-law, Kiota Gainey of Charlotte, North Carolina and numerous other family and friends.

A very generous and warm person, Beverly adopted cats, collected dolls and enjoyed reading about the Amish.  She enjoyed shows at Amish Acres and traveling to Pennsylvania to take in the Sight and Sound shows of Noah, Moses, Samson, Jonah and Jesus.

She worked as an admissions coordinator for a nursing home in Cape Coral, Florida.

A private graveside service and burial was held at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.

Memorial donations may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society or a pet charity of the donor’s choice.
