Beverly R. Deter

Beverly Ray (Miller) Deter, age 91, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Harmony of Elkhart.

Beverly was born on May 25, 1935, in New Paris, Indiana, to Ray and Eileen (Miller) Miller.

For 25 years, Beverly served her community as a dedicated checkout clerk at Kroger prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her two children; Doug Deter, Bristol, and Dina (Ken) Patti, Goshen.

Beverly also leaves behind 5 beloved grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, her sister Diana K. Coleman of Goshen, IN, and her brother Gordon D. Miller of Granger, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Eileen Miller, her sister Barbara McCoy, and her brother Robert G. Miller.

A private burial will take place at Whitehead Cemetery in New Paris, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Estep from the First Brethren Church, New Paris, will officiate.
