Beverly R. Bailey

Beverly R. Bailey, 82, of Goshen, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born May 16, 1928 in Mishawaka to Edward E. and Genevieve (Zehner) Harrell.

On March 7, 1981 she married Charles Bailey in California.  He died April 24, 2014.

Survivors include a sister, Frances Dills of Goshen; two brothers, Charles (Deb) Harrell of Elkhart and Ernest (Sue) Harrell of Middlebury; three step-daughters, Elaine Bailey of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeannette Bailey of Highland, Utah and Cathy (Robert) Whittenburg of Madras, Oregon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Shirley Shafer and a step-son, Alan Bailey.

Mrs. Bailey moved to Goshen six years ago, coming from California and Utah where she taught elementary school.  She loved to read and teach.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 19, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.  Elkhart County COVID mandates will be followed.

Burial will follow in Baintertown Cemetery, New Paris.
