Beulah Cross, 86, passed away early Saturday morning, August 4, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born August 31, 1925 in Mylo, North Dakota to Noah and Sarah (Graber) Gingerich. She married Daniel E. Cross May 14, 1944 in Middlebury. He died December 4, 2010. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Miller and Darlene (Vernon) Plank, both of Goshen, and Gloria (Michael) Schrock of Millersburg; a son, Marvin (Deanna) Cross, Jacksons Gap, Alabama, 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Stutzman of Goshen, and Dorothy (Orlo) Fisher of Talcum, Kentucky; and two sisters-in-law, Clara Gingerich and Edna Gingerich, both of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elnora Miller; three brothers, Elmer, Jacob and Raymond Gingerich; and a great-grandson, Dalton Metcalf. A homemaker, Mrs. Cross was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church, and along with her husband, was a foster parent for five children. She had worked in the deli at Everett's for five years and at County Seat Restaurant. Friends may call 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and an hour prior to the 10 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012, funeral service at Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Pastors Ron Diener and Tyler Hartford will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
