Beulah Mae Amsden, 74, of Goshen died Wednesday afternoon, December 26, 2012, at 713 S 3rd St., the home of her daughter, Penny. She was born August 2, 1938 to Malcolm and Grace (Hylton) Yates, in Millard, Ky. On May 29, 1958 she married Richard B. Amsden in Goshen. He died May 10, 1995. She is survived by two daughters, Penny (Steve) Minnich and Sandy (Tim) Clark, both of Goshen; six grandchildren, Tabitha (Jason) Dunlap, Karri Minnich, Chris, Amanda, Jacob, and Makla Clark; and a great-grandson Riley Dunlap. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Michael Amsden; four brothers, Tommy, Bert, Clifford, and Bill; and four sisters, Thelma, Ruby, June, and Jean. Beulah resided in Goshen since moving here in 1954 from Kentucky. She worked for 27 years at Homecrest in the shipping and warranty departments. She enjoyed going to the Michigan City Blue Chip Casino and travelling to Las Vegas every year. Her grandchildren were a special part of her life. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Schrock of First Baptist Church, Goshen officiating. Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army or the Alzheimer's Association.
