Betty S. Tidwell

Betty S. Tidwell, 73, of Wakarusa, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at The Waters of Wakarusa.

She was born December 2, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert and Lucille (Lacefield) Brown.

On March 19, 1971 she married Hal M. Tidwell.

Survivors include her husband, Hal M. Tidwell; two children, Carrie (Shawn) Hoffman of New Paris and Curtis (Christina) Tidwell of Middlebury; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Harshberger of LaGrange and Marilyn Patrick of Kentucky.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mona Yoder, Donna Puckett and Margaret Treat.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A private burial will take place at West Goshen Cemetery at a later date.
