Betty June Riley, 79, of Goshen, died early Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2008, at Riverside Village in Elkhart.  She had been ill since Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008. She was born in Goodland, Indiana, on June 10, 1929, to Frederick Ross and Clara (Allen) Griffin.  She married Harry Floyd Riley, Jr. on December 21, 1952, in Rensselaer, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on August 5, 2006. A homemaker, Mrs. Riley graduated from Angola High School and International Business College in Fort Wayne.  She had worked as a bookkeeper for Travel Equipment Company and Golden Rule. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wakarusa where she very active.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia S. (Mike) Ritter of Fremont, Indiana, Deborah K. South and Karen J. (Craig) Sears, both of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and a brother, Robert William Griffin. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa.  Pastor David Harper will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church.
