Betty Mae Kime

Betty M. Kime, 94, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Courtyard Healthcare where she had been the past month.

She was born July 25, 1927, in Goshen to Silas S. and Mae P. (Truex) Showalter.

On November 4, 1949, she married Jay Kime.  He died January 7, 2010.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Sabrina) Kime of Elkhart and Brad Kime of Indianapolis; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren.

A 1945 graduate of Goshen High School, she was a charter member of Maplecrest Country Club and a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen.

Betty, along with husband, Jay owned and operated Kime Nursery on the south side of Goshen for 44 years.

Private family services will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Violett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Plymouth United Church of Christ.
