Betty L. Bennett

Betty L. Bennett, 84, of Goshen died Monday, October 5, 2020 at home.

She was born May 12, 1936 in Peru to Louis E. and Madge (Alexander) Reavis.

Survivors include five children, Theresa Gordon of Tampa, Florida, Judy (Al) Haines of Goshen, Don Bennett of Flora, Mitch (Donna) Bennett of Niles, Michigan and Denise Rinehart of Duluth, Georgia; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bennett; a grandson, Jason Haines; all of her seven siblings; and the father of her children, Robert Bennett.

Betty worked as a lab inspector for Miles/Bayer laboratories.  She enjoyed traveling, making flower arrangements, working outside, watching and feeding the birds.  These were some of her many joys; her greatest joy came from her grandchildren.

A 10 a.m. graveside service will take place Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.  Pastor Carl Fitz will officiate.
