Bessie May Price

Bessie May Price, 100, died at The Courtyard, Tuesday afternoon, November 24, 2009.  She had been ill for two weeks.  She was born on January 5, 1909, in Wabash, Indiana to the late William and Mabel (Newberry) Brewer.  She married Robert H. Price, in Wabash, on November 19, 1927.  He preceded her in death on July 22, 2004.  Mrs. Price did assembly work at Johnson Controls and she helped make candy at the Olympia Candy Kitchen.  She is survived by one daughter, Martha Mougeotte, Goshen; two grandsons, Philip Mougeotte, Cocoa, Florida, Tom Mougeotte, Grand Rapids, Michigan; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Donna Mae; one sister, Celia Boardman; two brothers, Gene and Jack Brewer; and one grandson, Greg Mougeotte.  Friends may call from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  An 11 a.m., Saturday, November 28, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, with the Rev. Omer Nisley officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made out to the family or to Goshen Hospital Care at Home Hospice.
