Bernice V. Mullet, 90, of Shipshewana, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, February 8, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
She was born August 28, 1925 in Willowby, Ohio to Charles and Dorothy (Reed) Wagner.
On December 11, 1954 she married Enos “Pete” Mullet in Goshen. He died July 26, 2002.
Survivors include a son, David M. (Paulette) Mullet of Shipshewana; a daughter, Cindra; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson and a great-great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, Donald Lee Garman; a grandson, Bradley Mullet and a sister, Lettie Krallman.
Mrs. Mullet owned and operated her own beauty shop on Indiana Ave., Goshen, for many years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sturgis, Michigan and a former member of the Goshen Women of the Moose and the D.A.V. Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Friends may call Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 12, 2016. Bishop Sean Peterson will officiate.
Burial will follow in Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
