Benjamin James Addis

Benjamin James Addis, beloved son of Terri Cripe and Rick and Jennifer Addis, passed away surrounded by his family on October 10, 2024, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

He is survived by his parents, sister Emily Slatt (Andy), brother Rhent Addis and his beloved nieces, Maggie and Sophie.

Ben earned his baccalaureate degree from Indiana University South Bend. He was a man of varied interests. He loved reading Harry Potter with his niece, collecting basketball cards and could throw a mean yo-yo. He was interested in computer programming, always tinkering with old machines and operating systems.  He also played guitar and liked to fish.

A longtime employee of Martin’s Supermarkets, he enjoyed his regular customers and his co-workers.

Ben was great at making other people smile and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, from 12 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Catholic memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Father Brian Florin will officiate.
