Ben Williams

Ben Williams, 71, of Goshen passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27th, 2026 at Goshen Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on March 8th, 1954 in Goshen, Indiana to Harmon “Hap” Williams and Mary Lou Williams. He lived in Goshen all his life.

Survivors include his sons Jacob Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana and Dominic Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana, his sisters Susan Fairless of Perrysville, Ohio, and Marla Schrader of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Williams, father Harmon “Hap” Williams, and sister, Diane Rolfs.

Ben spent two decades working as an insurance agent for Aflac, and spent his last few years as a semi-retired benefits counselor.

Ben believed in serving his community through his decades of volunteer work with the Goshen Jaycees and Goshen Noon Kiwanis Club. Ben loved the Kiwanis, he made several close friends and served as club president for one year. Ben was an avid golfer, longtime member of Maplecrest Country Club and loved volunteering his time at PGA and USGA events around the country.

Family and friends will meet at Violett Cemetery on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 2:30pm for graveside services. A celebration of life will follow at 4 p.m. at Maplecrest Country Club, 611 Hackett Road, Goshen, 46528.
