Ben B. Hunley

Ben B. Hunley, 62, of Goshen, died unexpectedly late Thursday afternoon, November 22, 2007, in the emergency room of Goshen General Hospital. He was born in Cooper, Kentucky on January 24, 1945 to Baily and Mary (Daniels) Hunley.  He married Lillie Rink on December 27, 1965 in Goshen.  She survives. Mr. Hunley worked at Sunrise Orchards for 46 years.  He was a past member of the Elkhart County Beagle Club and attended Benton Free Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lillie; a daughter, Vanesa (Andrew) Carlson and a son, Donald (Christine) Hunley, both of Goshen; two grandsons, Benjamin and Jeremiah; four sisters, Goldie Looney of Goshen, Verna (Roy) Sexton and Anna Piercey, both of Monticello, Kentucky, and Bessie (Boyce) Coffey of Sydney, Ohio; and three brothers, William Hunley and Mack (Tammy) Hunley, both of Goshen, and Billy Hunley of Monticello, Kentucky. Friends will be received 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 25 at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Lenny Krebs of the Benton Free Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
