Beatrice Huston

Beatrice “Bea” L. Huston, 106 of Syracuse died Sunday evening, May 15, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born June 22, 1909 in Haines Falls, New York to Alfred and Jesse (Plass) Legg.

On November 25, 1933 she married William B. Huston.  He died November 18, 1966.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (David) Boothby of Goshen; a granddaughter, Lisa (Casey) Ernsberger; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Mya Ernsberger.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Maurgerite Jenkins and June Wilson and a brother, Perry Legg.

Mrs. Huston owned and operated a Dairy Queen with her husband and worked as a bank teller.  She moved to Indiana from Massachusetts in 1976.  She was a member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ and volunteer for the Goshen Hospital Auxiliary.

Friends may call Saturday, May 21, 2016 one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service at Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen. Pastor Linda Sue Hewitt, and son-in-law, Pastor David Boothby will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heifer International or Plymouth United Church of Christ.
