Barbara Joan Rensberger

Barbara Joan Rensberger, 82, of Goshen, passed away Monday afternoon, September 28, 2015, at Courtyard Healthcare after a brief illness. She was born August 18, 1933 in Goshen to William "Ted" and Georgia (Howard) Grover. On March 15, 1954 she married Jack Rensberger in Goshen. He died January 13, 2003. Survivors include three daughters, Jill (Joerg) Mueller and Jan (Scott) Huxford, both of Goshen and Jennifer (Klaus) Mueller of New Paris, five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, George "Sonny" Grover of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Gwen Rhude and Mary Jane Rhude and a brother, John R. Grover. Mrs. Rensberger graduated from Goshen High School in 1952 and was a member of Christian Fellowship. She worked as a credit manager for Montgomery Wards and Klines Department Store. She also worked at Johnson Controls and retired from Goshen General Hospital in 2004 as a financial counselor. Friends may call Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10:30 a.m., funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015. Pastor Craig Garber will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Christian Fellowship.
