Barbara "Jan" Perrin

Barbara “Jan” (Olds) Perrin, 74, of Goshen, died Monday, March 16, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor in Wakarusa.

She was born January 14, 1946 in Muncie to John W. and Barbara (Weir) Olds.

On November 23, 1979 she married Richard Perrin.  He died January 3, 2006.

Survivors include a sister, K. Jeanne (Cliff) Ziebold of Goshen; a brother, J. Wesley (Gail) Olds of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Jan worked as a home economics teacher at Concord Community Schools for 26 years prior to retirement. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church, Elkhart and current member of Pleasant View Church, Goshen.

She was also a member of the Weimaraner Club of America, Indiana Retired Teachers Association, and the Concord Teachers Association.  She enjoyed her volunteer time at Big Brothers and Big Sister of Elkhart County.

A memorial service at Pleasant View Church will be held at a later date along with burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
