Barbara J. Newswanger

Barbara J. Newswanger, 54, of Goshen passed from this earthly life into her eternal heavenly life with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Courtyard Healthcare.  She resides in the place God has prepared for her.

She was born September 9, 1964 in Goshen.

On April 16, 2005 she married Jim Newswanger in Nappanee.

He survives along with her mother, Ruby (Swinehart) Ralph of New Paris and three uncles, Robert (Lepita) Swinehart of Russelville, Alabama, James Ralph of Edwardsburg, Michigan, and John (Sally) Ralph of Sarasota, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ralph; her first husband, David Bradley; one uncle and four aunts.

Barbara had worked at Lane’s Fast Food, Walmart, Dunlap and Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen prior to being disabled.

The family wishes to thank Great Lakes Hospice and Courtyard Healthcare for the wonderful care they gave Barbara.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 10, 2019.  Pastor Jason Rohde, Nappanee Missionary Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow at New Paris Cemetery.
