Barbara Jean Delazerda

Barbara Jean Delazerda, 55, of Goshen, died early Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2006, at Greencroft Healthcare.  She had been ill since February. She was born June 19, 1951, in Frankfort, Indiana, to the late Paul and Mable Allie Denning.  She married Walter Delazerda on December 8, 1970, in Mobile, Alabama.  He died in March.   Mrs. Delazerda moved to Goshen in March from Austin, Texas, where she worked as a computer analyst and programmer for the State of Texas.   She is survived by two sisters, Anna (Terry) Gray of Indianapolis and Karen (Dale) Bontrager of Goshen; and two brothers, Paul (Diane) Denning of Paola, Kansas, and Charles (Judy) Denning of Royersford, Pennsylvania.   Friends will be received 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11:00 a.m. service will be held.    Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to Seaton League House, 3207 Wabash, Austin, Texas  78705.
