Barbara J. Bickel

Barbara J. Bickel, 98, of Goshen, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

Friends will be received Friday, August 3, 2018, from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Barbara was born January 11, 1920 in South Bend and lived most of her life in Goshen.

On May 17, 1940 she married Robert E Bickel.  He passed away January 18, 1999.

Barbara devoted her life to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother.  She was a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Nancy) Conant of Florida and Mrs. Tom (Susan) Snider of New Paris; a son, Michael (Tammy) Bickel of Syracuse; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Freda Morgan; a stillborn son in 1941 and three brothers, Robert, Charles and Richard Morgan.

Memorials may be given to the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary, Goshen.
