Aurora Guevara

Aurora Guevara, 63, of New Paris, passed away early Monday morning, August 13, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born May 21, 1949 in McAllen, Texas to the late Manuel N. and Maria A. (Juarez) Guevara. She is survived by three sisters, Maria and Angela Guevara, both of New Paris, and Gracie (Adam L.) Mingucha of Goshen; two brothers, Pedro and David Guevara, both of New Paris; and a niece Rebecca Chagoya of Elkhart. A longtime Goshen resident, Aurora worked at Hinsdale Farms, Bristol and Hacienda Restaurant, Goshen, and attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 7 p.m., Rosary will be recited. A 10 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2012, funeral mass will be conducted at St. John's with Father Fernando Jimenez officiating. Burial will follow in New Paris Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
