Audrey L. Yoder, 98, of Goshen passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Waterford Crossing Health Campus.
She was born May 25, 1927, in Vistula, Elkhart County, Indiana to Earl and Eva (White) Shamory.
On May 15, 1948, she married Ralph O. Yoder in Albion. He died September 24, 2003.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy L. Smith of Easley, South Carolina, Rebecca Kay Yoder of Greer, South Carolina and Patricia Ann (Howard) Hamilton of Goshen; four grandchildren, Bradley (Sarah) Hamilton, Deena (Craig) Taylor, Christine (Jason) Rumschlag, and Kimberly (Michael) Albertson, 11 great-grandchildren, Brittney Rumschlag, Abigail Rumschlag, Darbi (Jeff) Converse, Bailey (Doug) Hickman, Cassie Koziol, Ryan Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Samuel Albertson, Krysta (Scott) McQueen, Kylee (Jeff) Thorpe and Ryan Bowen; and ten great-great grandchildren, Eleanor, Harrison, Sadie, Collins, Charleigh, William, Chloe, Jace, Adalyn, and Sawyer.
Mrs. Yoder was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She worked at Goshen Hospital for more than 24 years in the housekeeping department.
An avid painter since she was a child, she was gifted in painting landscapes. A highlight was winning “Best in Show” of one of her paintings she entered at the Elkhart County Fair. Her constant companions were her dogs, Streaker, Smutz, and Sunny Boy who have all passed over the rainbow bridge, and Missy who survives with Pat.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor John Randolph, People’s Bible Church will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
