Audrey Jean (Leek) Gill, 85, of Goshen, died Monday morning, September 28, 2009, at her home. She had been in failing health since November 2008. She was born in Goshen on August 29, 1924, to Owen M. and Ethel Mae (Roth) Leek. She married William E. Brallier, Sr. on December 6, 1942 and they divorced. She then married Glen Roy on December 19, 1975 and he died April 20, 1987. On August 31, 1991 she married Albert C. Gill. He passed away on February 14, 2000. A 1942 graduate of Millersburg High School, Mrs. Gill worked as a proofreader and linotype operator at the Goshen News for 30 years. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Goshen. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Audrey Jean Suderman and Connie (Ronald) Yoder, both of Goshen, and Denise (Richard) Osborn of Hayesville, North Carolina; a son, William E. (Elizabeth) Brallier, Jr. of Millersburg; two step-sons, Larry (Karen) Gill of Syracuse and Gary (Gloria) Gill of Elkhart; a step-daughter, Bonnie Miller of Topeka; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Owen M. (Louise) Leek, Jr. of Palm Bay, Florida and John (Janice) Leek of Port Charlotte, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husbands; three sisters, Virginia Frey, Phyllis Hartsough, and Bernice Leek; two brothers, Richard and Nathan Leek; a step-brother, Allen Fredrickson; and a granddaughter, Joanna Kirk. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor John Drexler of First Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to First Brethren Church, Goshen, or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
