Arthur J. Snowden

Arthur J. Snowden, 88, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, May 22, at Majestic Care of Goshen.

He was born February 10, 1936, in McLaurin, Mississippi, to Andy and Virginia (Jolly) Snowden.

Surviving are sons David Snowden of Palmdale, California, and James (Sherry) Snowden of Goshen, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is his sister Larene (Thomas) Barrett of Elkhart.

Preceding Arthur in death were his parents, his stepmother Helen Snowden-Dodge, his sister Kathryn Griffith and his brother Lewis Snowden.

Arthur was a 1955 graduate of Goshen High School.  He enjoyed reading and hunting crows.  Arthur worked for several years at Skyline and at Duplex Products.

A private graveside service will be held at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
