Arliss J. Stump

Arliss J. Stump, 84, of Goshen, died Friday morning, February 17, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital after an extended illness.   She was born February 2, 1922, in Goshen, to Pierre W. and Alta (Houk) Cripe.  On August 17, 1941, at Goshen City Church of the Brethren, she married Robert M. Stump.  He survives.   Mrs. Stump, a 1940 Goshen High School graduate, was a member of the Goshen City Church of the Brethren.  She had worked 15 to 20 years in the family business; Pierre W. Cripe Sales and Service.    She is survived by her husband, Bob; two sons, Robert M. Stump, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Thomas L. (Linda) Stump of Goshen; and a grandson, Kerry Stump.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 20, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2006, funeral will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Timothy T. Yoder of Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate.   Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
