April L. O'Dell

April L. O’Dell, 50, of Millersburg passed away, Saturday, April 12, 2025 after a lengthy illness, at home surrounded by loved ones.

April was born March 28, 1975 in Albion, Michigan.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Rhonda and Walter O’Dell of  Bristol; brother, Kyle (Taylor) O’Dell, Middlebury; nephews, Hunter and Tucker O’Dell; and dogs, Zoey and Jessie.

Also surviving is her loving companion of 30 years, James Lemarr and his children, James (Kristen) Lemarr of Wakarusa and Dustin Lemarr of Nappanee; his mother, Joyce Lemarr; and siblings, Cathy Markham of Goshen, Deb (Randy) Mishler of White Pigeon, Michigan, Virgil Lemarr of Wyoming, Ohio and Crystal (Mark) Lantz of South Bend.

Preceding her in death were grandparents, Linda and Ralph O’Dell; Jim’s father, James Lemarr, Sr.; and beloved dogs, Toby, Casey and Maya.

April worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Goshen Hospital for 10 years, retiring as unit secretary. She enjoyed motorcycle rides, boating, fishing, including ice fishing, and being home working on crochet projects.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. No other services are planned.
