Annabelle Snyder, 96, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, April 30, 2013, at Greencroft Goshen Health Care where she had been the last two weeks. She was born April 27, 1917 at home in Harrison Township to John B. and Cora (Nice) Christophel. She married Don F. Snyder in Goshen April 17, 1971. He died June 5, 2009. She is survived by a sister, Letha Carpenter of Goshen; a brother, Paul (Flora Jane) Christophel of Elkhart; a sister-in-law, Charlene Christophel of Goshen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett, Eldon and Theron Christophel and a sister, Lois Reuter. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Snyder worked at Crist Cleaners for 27 years. A member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, she enjoyed family activities, knitting and traveling, both camper and group, with her husband. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, service at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Pastors Katie Cunningham, Wes Bontreger and Harold Yoder will officiate. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.
