Annabelle Cripe

Annabelle Cripe, 92, of Goshen, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019, at Goshen Hospital after a short illness.

She was born July 6, 1927 in Bremen, to Eli and Elizabeth (Borkholder) Burkholder, and was a lifetime area resident.

Annabelle married Elmer D. Cripe on September 2, 1962. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2002.

She worked as an inspector at Goshen Rubber and retired from there in 1990. Annabelle was a loving aunt and friend to many.

Surviving Annabelle are step-son Devon Junior Cripe; nine nieces and nephews, and four step-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, a step-daughter, sisters Rosa Nisley, Lydia Mae Miller, brothers Alvin E., Elmer and Floyd Burkholder, and an infant brother.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Hunn of Jefferson Community Church will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson Community Church or to the Goshen Cancer Center.
