Anna Grayce Hooley, 89. of Goshen, died Friday afternoon, March 11, 2011, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born in Shipshewana on December 2, 1921, to the late Percy and Artie (Yoder) Miller. She married Ernest F. Hooley on June 24, 1944 in LaGrange. He died April 25, 2004. She is survived by three daughters, Rita (David) Lewis of Goshen, Cecilia (Duane) Wyse of Wauseon, Ohio, and Brenda (Brian) Nebel of Hesston, Kansas; two sons, Delmar (Joan) Hooley of Edinberg, Virginia and Eric (Glenda) Hooley of Goshen; a son-in-law, Randy Miller of Goshen; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Ruby (John) Eberly of Blountstown, Florida; and a brother, Paul J. Miller of Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Miller in 2009 and an infant son, Loren Dee Hooley. A homemaker, Mrs. Hooley worked as a sales clerk for 27 years at Yoder's Department Store, Shipshewana. She did voluntary service in Calico Rock, Arkansas; Glencroft in Glendale, Arizona; and Rio Grande Bible Institute. She was a member of Shore Mennonite Church and was associated with College Mennonite Church, Goshen. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 14, at Shore Mennonite Church, Shipshewana, where a 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, prayer service will be held, followed by burial in Shore Cemetery. A 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011, memorial service will be conducted at Shore Mennonite Church, with Pastors Randy Miller and Carl Horner officiating. Memorials may be made to Shore Mennonite Church.
